Capitol Reef National Park is just another 5 star Utah national park located about a 2-3 hour drive away Zion, Arches, Canyonlands, or Bryce. The terrain is akin to that of Zion, but with more greenery (might just be the season we went) and the rock terrain was more appealing to me as well. The hotel is very near Capitol Reef National Park and Factory Butte. If you plan to leave the park late, this hotel should be a perfect choice. The staff is super friendly and funny! Anyway, it is very remote. You are in the middle of nowhere.
